Heads and intake advice

Hey everyone, I havent been on in about 3 months. I just returned from Paris Island Recruit Training about 5 days ago. I have some money saved up. Im planning on putting it into my car, I want to get a great set of heads and u/l intake to match. I dont know what to look for, everything involves knotching the pistons or something thats not as simple as just bolting it up. I also wanted to know what tb and injectors to run with modded heads and intake. I leave monday for MCT, When i return i'd like to have boxes waiting for me. Thanks

Look for 1.90 valves. You won't have to notch unless you go higher. I believe that is still the case for a stock cam but someone can correct me if I'm wrong. They are direct bolt on. I'd recommend an Edelbrock intake as my buddy has one and it made a world of difference in his car.

you can go around the .540 range with a 1.90 intake valve, with bigger valves just go ahead and notch the pistons. I have milled 1.94 intake valves and if I go with anything bigger than a stock cam I have to notch em..

but a good combo would be:

eddy 1.90 heads or ford x heads
typhoon intake or eddy intake
like an e cam
all the bolt ons, and that will put you in the 12's easily if you can drive
