Heads/Cams Emissions Question

Well I am sure I am not the only person spending their tax returns before before we have them... Here is what I am thinking Steen Stage II Heads and Comp Xtreme XE270AH Cams. Here is the question, if I do end up doing this will I ever be able to sell my car legally? I am thinking that with the purchase of new cats it will pass emissions at 2k, but the idle I am not so sure about? Does anyone have any experience with this? I live in California so if I ever go to sell the car...

I know not the most exciting thread, but I am about one click away from doing this.

Not sure on Cali. But here in KY could you sell it yes. Would you prolly lose money on it YES. How bad you want the performance? Also to most cams sound like the car is missing, so they think something is wrong with the car.

nope you wont unless you payoff the guy testing your car, also let the person buying the car that he will also have to payoff the emissions test guy if you ever sell it

you will have a hard time passing. the visual is fine, but there are increased emissions associated with larger cams due to more valve overlap. this allows raw HC to pass directly from the intake to the exhaust valve.
