Heads & gas mileage

I'm looking to add heads to my car, and am wondering what it'll do to my gas mileage.

I currently get 280+ to the tank on the highway w/the blower, intake, throttle body, mass air, and larger pump/injectors.

I'd be adding Edelbrock 6037s (60379).

They claim 70HP and I imagine gas mileage would drop considerably as well.
Any thoughts?

i dont think its so much the heads, than it is the CAM, my friend got a stage 2 trick flow cam and some matching heads and now he gets 7-8 Miles per gallon, that being said, he dyno'd at 291 RWHP and he runs low 12's

on street tires......he gutted the back and has 100 shot of NOS..... but his car is quick

Damn, I've got 300 at the wheels and get my 280+. Around town is much less, but still better than 7-8

OTOH, I don't plan on changing the cam either.

Thanks for your input, and it only took about 10 seconds from when my question was posted, lol.
