Hello all. I am restoring a 1982 Mustang GT. It has good bones but the rest is roached out. I have decided rather than trying to save and figure out the wiring, to get a Painless Universal kit. I have used these before for kit cars and like the fact I can customize things. At this point I want to save the original instrument cluster (from the 82). I believe I have mapped out all the wires and their purpose, HOWEVER I have only wired aftermarket gauges into cars. Are there any tips for wiring up a Foxbody instrument cluster to an aftermarket wiring setup. I would appreciate any constructive comments. Thanks! By the way, here it is when we picked it up.
