Hello Im new to this I have a 87 mustang gt I put a new dimmer switch in it then I ran the lights for 5-7min and the metal inside of the switch was a bit warm not enough where it was melting the outside plastic but it was warm is this normal?
Make sure that they were not swapped out for higher current fuses to help cover up a problem. Getting warm is a sign of current draw. There really isn't a lot of electrical draw after the dimmer to draw that much current
