Ok guys I have a 96 Cobra, when i bought it already had many goodies, but the stock mid pipe rattled like crazy. But before I got a new mid pipe I got a set of Summitt Glasspack mufflers Y I have no idea but it sounded pretty good with the stock mid pipe. Well this weekend my Mac - O/R h-pipe gets in and I'm pumped to install it, do (PITA) and finish. I do a start up test (small leak where the pipes comes together clamp it no biggie) but when I go to drive it sounds HORABLE like a 72 ford truck with no muffler and a farmer behind the wheel wow 7 Hours of work so it sounds like **** anyways the exhaust is dumped before the rear axle (looks cleaner) and the car is WAY too loud and sounds like ASS at low RPM's its the worst, anyways I figured its the redneck mufflers so will replacing them with say 2 chamber Flowmaster 40's. My ? is will it make it sound GOOD with a TUNNED exhaust note? Thanks for any help or comments welcome thanks guys me now.

any with the Mac O/R-Flowmaster 40's combo very welcome.

too much free flow will sound like butt cheese. the flows will make it sound alot better, but theres other choices than the worn out flows, you should try some magnapacks

Really I wish I had the $ for a Bassani, I think we all know about Flowmaster quality but now I just need it to sound good. We F-Body guys know about Flows so we dont use them at all on our cars we usually run Borla what I have on my SS or SLP, Magna, LT w/true duals, ect...
