HELP ASAP- Rough idle/fans on/running rich/etc..

I drove home today and went to the mall for a haircut with the car running fine.
After my haircut I started the car and noticed a higher idle(around 11-1200 rpm) and the CEL on. I smelled something and noticed a whining type noise from under the hood. It sounds like maybe the throttle body is stuck open?
I also have a low/high speed fan controller and noticed the green light for high on the fan was on and the fan is on all the time now, even with the key just in the on position. It seems to be running really rich and smells like it. There is also a lot of smoke coming out of the car.

I went to autozone and for some reason the code tester wouldnt work and i just tried doing the jumper wire and i can not get the test to start. I also tried running a wire from the Self-Test Input Connector to the negative terminal on the battery incase the SigRTN wire was broke and nothing.

When the key is just on the ON position it sounds like the fuel pump is on and under the hood sounds like it's going through all the injectors maybe turning them on and off.

Anyone have any idea what is going on with the car to make it do this? and how can i do a test to figure out what code is getting thrown.
It ran perfect and then i turned the car off and back on an hour later and she runs like ####.

One thing we did do about 2 weeks ago was put on some Long Tubes and extended the O2 wires ourselves and i've heard they are really touchy but i don't think that it would go out like that.
And i also don't want to spend that much money to buy some new ones and it not be my problem because money is tight at the moment and i'm needing my car this sunday/monday for labor day.
Thanks!

update: I think I'm going to go replace the ECT and buy new o2 sensors and see how it goes.
The thing with the ECT though is it's cutting on the high speed fan instead of low according to my fan controller which my friend and I thought was a little weird.

replaced the ECT and still runs the exact same-
and i changed out the o2's and still no luck.
need help!! i have no other ideas on what to try/do.

thanks

This is better over here (I'm here more often). I was about to find your other thread to ask:

What is your self-test connector situation? Did you keep your old one functional or do you have to splice in a fox's self test connector?

Here's some info about the no code situation. That's where I'd start. Also, if it's not mentioned, check the resistance between the self test ground and the battery ground. It should be under a couple of ohms.

Good luck.
