Recently installed 3.73 gears,Steada Tri-ax and a aluminum driveshaft. I noticed a few days after instalation a intermitent ticking sound coming from the shifter area. Sounds like when you get a rock stuck in your tiretread and it makes that "click, click,click" until the rock is thrown from the tire sound.
It seems to happen (only twice) when going into third. I've put the trans in nuetral last time and reved the motor and the "click" didn't seem to accelerate with engine speed. The "click" was just not as audible when in nuetral and when putting the trans back into third the "click" disappeared.
Weird!?
Anyone with insight to my mystery please chime in.
