Help. Fireballs out my exhaust!!!

I recently had my car dynotuned at this place, Dannys pro Performance,,

anyways, they ended up setting my timing up at 12 and FP at 40 for the ebst results, but they did the runs at 140-160 degrees water temp sooo the car wasnt likely to detonate...

Anyways, on my way home, i had a fuel pump problem sooo when i had that fixed, i told the place to set the FP at 40 since thats what they did on the dyno.. I guess they forgot to take the vac line off sooo in reality, it was at 45.... driving it home, it smelt real rich, and had sudden throttle hesitations.... it ran good otherwise though. This was driving it around 160 degrees...

I then go home and drop the FP to 40.. sudden throttle increments were alot smoother now! I went to take off hard and then it pinged like hell up top! this was probably 185 degrees.... I tried to put the FP back to 45 and see what happens... it pinged, but not as bad....

I then had a buddy retime it and he set it at 8.5 with the FP still at 45.... it didnt ping anymore up to redline, but driving around at night with a buddy in his car too, his jaw dropped after i shifted hard into 3rd gear.. I asked what happened and he told me I had a fireshow under my car when i shifted!.. I figured it was running too rich soo i backed it down to 40, which is how it was set from the dyno.. it rides smoother, but it is daytime soo i have no clue if im blowing fire out.. all i know is, there is still a lag when i shift real hard, whihc is leading me to think i am still blowing fire out under the shift.

Should i try to bring the timing to 10 and see if it pings?? Could the 8 dgrees of timing be hurting me now??

Im sure my exhuast isnt helping it out much... MAC 1 5/8 equals, into a 2.5 o/r X pipe into 3 inch race bullets with no dumps or tails

soo basically I went from the dyno settings... 12 timing and 40 FP- to my settings 8.5 timing and 40 FP
