ok- here goes.....

trick flow heads with crane gold 1.7 rockers, comp roller cam, hydraulic lifter....

Car has been together and running for a few years now, 5000 or so miles and the rockers seem extremely loud and ticking.....

I pulled the valve covers off an checked all the rockers by hand... some where tight, some you could wiggle from side to side, and some you could lift front to back...........

my main question is..... no matter where your valves/ pistons/ etc are, should all the rockers be tight? no matter if the valve is open, closed, half way???? am I correct in thinking this?

Then next question is, the car has been sitting all winter... should the car be turned over and the lifters pumped or is that ONLY when you install new lifters?

and third.... I read cranes directions of setting the rockers and also my ford manual..... is it wrong to bring cylinder 1 up to TDC and adjust the rockers like ford states, and then turn it 360 degrees and adjust others , and then turn it 90 degrees (270) and tighten the rest????

please help me out, have a dyno day on tuesday and need to get this finished tomorrow!

thanks
