I just put in a B cam, explorer intake/70mm TB and longtubes on my 95 GTS, the car runs ok but is sorta skipping, not like a dead skip, just sorta sputters lightly like it's flooding a bit. I checked the plugs, they are good, same distributor, coil and wires as before. I need to know which wires to jump in the EEC test post to make the CEL flash codes. Any advice on the culprit appreciated too!

I have changed and checked everything, plugs wires MAF TPS, etc.. The only thing I can think of is maybe I got the cam a tooth off??? Or maybe a bad lifter?? What would the symptoms be if the cam were a tooth off?

Also, could I have gotten the Rocker arms too tight? They are stock bolt down rockers?

Did you run a cylinder balance test as part of the code retrieval process?

If it fails on number 6, put a noid light across the #6 injector and see if the light pulses. The injector gets accessory 12 volts and the ground is modulated to energize the injector.

Good luck.

when you put the headers on you could have cracked the plug. if the injector cks out try replacing the plugs or at the very least #6 since that's the one you think you have probs with

Thanks guys! I Did infact crack #6 plug but I replaced it, all others look good, wires look good, May change them just for the heck of it. I will try the light on the injectors and see what I come up with there. What is a cylinder balance test??
