HELP!!!!! K&N FIPK fits really tight. Show me yours

I installed the K&N FIPK on my 04 GT yestarday and the thing fits really really tight. The one of the two hose connectors comming out of the tube sits right againt the oil cap and the 1 of the 2 metal bars that hold the thing in place is very very close to i beleive a metal radiator hose . K&N doesn't make one for the 04 yet so i ordered one for the 03 everyone said this thing would fit but, now im not sure. Ive tried moving it everywhere but the fit is still tight. Can any of you guys that have thses installed on 99-04 please post pics so i can see how you have it setup.

I set mine really low so it doesn't rub up against the liner on the hood. I don't have the short bracket attached at all. One bracket is enough to hold it in place.

Yes, that one hose goes right next to the oil filler cap. It sucks, but that's another reason I set mine low, so the hose goes next to it.

I have pics but I won't get to them till this weekend.

I never thought of removing the lower bracket, thanks i do that tonite.
