I am attempting to build an engine with as much off the line punch as possible. I'm a acceleration junky, not so much a speed freak. I would like to have some high RPM potential too. Keep in mind that at some point I will more than likely be going with a set of aluminum heads from the aftermarket, so the cam needs to work with those too.

The engine as it now sits is set up with a .030 over ballanced 5.0. I have .200 domed pistons in it, which with the heads I am using make about 10:1 compression. The heads are ported and pollished lincon heads with a 3 angle vaulve grind. The motor is set up for a roller cam stock, so I'm going to go ahead and use a full roller assembly, roller rockers and all. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with a Demon 625 carb. I'm not sure about which intake to go with.

Thanks for any help! :nice:

I am a big fan of comp cams. Just fill out there recommendation form and they will e-mail you back the right cam selection for your build. I did this and I am really happy. just tell them what you are looking for in a cam and they will help you out
Good luck
