I know everyones probably sick of these posts, but I need help :)

Here's how my build is looking so far

306 CI (zero decked) with flat tops
Ported E7's with Comp Cams 986-16 valve springs, decked .010" (approx 61 cc)
Ported stock lower
73 MM MAF
65 MM TB/EGR
3.73 gears
Full Exhaust

What cam do you think would best fit my mild combo? The car is gonna be street driven and will see time at the local track. Also has to pass emmissions.

So far I've been suggested the Crower and the E-cam.

Any input is appreciated
Derek

I'm not a genius, but I think comp cam or crane cam might be a good choice... If it's street driven, then the most logical choice isn't to get cam with a rough idle.. sure it kinda sounds cool for a bit and gives you better performance, but i dont like the sound the engine makes..

I say a f303, ummm .. just cus i have one for sale  :D ....
umm.. i say Trick Flow stage1 or 2, e303, b303, f303, carne or comp cams , try to say under .520 lift & .226 dur....

Btw i have passed smog with my f303 but as so as i took off my cats. and put in a off road h-pipe i faild.... "Good thing for me i live in pasco county, Fla. and do not need to have smog test" ....

Only reason i took the smog test is to see if i passed before i had my heads ported and flow masters, then i got my h-pipe a month later, i cant belive how much cats help clean the exhast! :hail2: , but on the flip side they eat up 10-25Hp...

Avoid the E, had mixed results on MD smog with it. I actually like mine even though I've been bashed for having such a mild cam in my combo. It idles and acts civilized, but has a huge flat torque curve. I drive much more below 4k than above it where the E works hardest.
