My car - 94 Mustang GT Auto U4P0 computer.
C&L Maf 42 LB injectors
tick flow street upper/lower 70mm TB
Novi 2000 S/C 12 PSI boost
Exhaust...
Full tune up, seafoamed it before the blower and ran much better. Car ran great with the blower till the winter, thats when the trouble started.

Only making 260 Rwhp, The car never did the same thing twice on the dyno. A/F was diferent every time you started the car.

Known problems, oil in the intake.. pcv blah blah, I have the kit to stop the oil, putting it in soon.

I snaped a bolt that goes from the upper to lower manifold but it still seems sealed with the gasket. I pulled and replaced this but failed in getting the broken peice out. So the new bolt is not put in the spec Lb's but the other 5 are.

I realy dont know what to do, what to try, or where to take it to. The tuner said I may have a bad computer and should see if i can swap it or buy a new one.

Anyone know where I can get a U4P0 computer?

i would try unplugging the maf and see how it runs.

i would also spray down the intake to make double sure you do not have a vacuum/boost leak.

If it is leaking it could cause inconsistant a/f ratio. It wil also cause it to run lean if it is leaking. Also check your basics, maf, tps, iac, sensors, etc.

I would try to fix that broken bolt, it may be causing a leak like others have said. May also want to chk maf voltage to make sure its working correctly, I think its around .7-.9v @ idle If its low, it may not show up w/a code, thats how mine acted. Other than that, I would chk for leaks, and codes.

Here is the link for the dyno graph, its not pretty.

It looks like someones pulse instead of a nice line or a curve

It is highly unlikely the pcm went bad all of a sudden.

I'm with the others about getting the intake all sealed up and good to go.

a/f is definately too lean for a 12psi sc setup. Even at the richest point it is probably too lean. Fix that bolt then go from there. Until then I would not push it too much, you are at risk of replacing your motor.

I think my motor is shot already... i hate the trickflow intake... i think im going to buy an edelbrok and replace the whole thing... the trickflow was machined very poorly and have had bad luck with it.

I going to try to get a compression test // leak down test done by a friend

Is there any other way i can check for leaks? With some sort of spray?

The way I check for a vac leak is to pull the brake booster line and then blow smoke into it. My friend has a smoke machine at his shop that he uses for emissions. Wherever the smoke comes out, aside from any place before the MAF, is where your leak is. You might also want to seal up the air filter if you do it this way...I think I used saran wrap.

I have a fog machine from holloween... may do the same thing... I could wrap the filter and see if it sucks in anywhere else... thats a good idea.

Latest update. I pulled 2 spark plugs and they were both gapped at around .040, im wondering if I am getting some random blow outs. I'm droping the gap to .030 and see how she runs.

Tomorow I get to run a compression test and a leak down test... and a vaccum test.

If anyone knows where there is a full vaccum diagram for our cars that would be great. I am going to pull the fender off and check the canister to see if I have a leak there too.

ok, was under the hood a day or two again... and I found that my lower intake gaskets were blown out... in 3 spots

The car would suck air in at idel, and put air out at throttle

getting replaced this week.
