Help me to choose heads for my Stang

Jeff is right... go stud mount (Its nice to see you on here again Jeff... where have you been?) I went pedestal and it was a royal PITA to get the valvetrain sorted out. I ended up buying new pushrods and such in the end, which was one of the reasons I didn't want stud mount... because I'd have to get new pushrods. As for emissions versus non-emissions... it mainly has to do with the thermactor holes drilled in the head... those without are NOT e-legal, those with are. I think its a good idea to buy the e-legal ones to be on the safe side, whether emissions is required in your area or not. I don't think there is any power gains/losses with them.

BTW- if you want the most out of a NA setup... go 58cc, if you definitely are doing some sort of forced induction go with the 60 or 61cc chambers as they will yield a slighter lower compression ratio.

I have been traveling alot for the last 2 months. Plus I got married on June 19th. So its been kinda hectic for awhile.

But I am slowly getting some more parts for the stang!
I got some Steeda sport springs and getting some struts and shocks. Also getting some prostars to put some ET streets on.

Anyone know which of the two heads made more power (AFR 165 vs. TFTW)?

That's not a question that can be answered. It all depends on the combination and the tune. As for flow numbers, they are within spitting distance of each other so don't get caught up in them, plus flow numbers don't mean everything. The TW does require a larger intake port and valve to accomplish the flow it has compared to the AFR though.

Jeff- congrats on getting married. July 28th is my 3yr anniversary with my wife. Its nice to have you back! Maybe I'll see you at the SSOTN fall nats.

I just come back from my good friends house, I told him how I have olan get AFR 165s and sometime next year get blower too and if stock block can't hold I will turn into 331 ,
His anwer on that was , "first thing you can't go with 165 and put blower and meybe 331, that doesn't works good, so he told me TFS Twisted Wedge are good heads for that combo
BTW guys he works on Stangs since 1983 , right now he have 94 Mustang 347 with YS trim blower and runs high 9s on Trick flows
Sorry Paul and guys but looks like TFS Twisted Wedge are better heads for me
