Help Motor wont start

Today I cleaned my enging and now it won't start. I had to leave it at the car wash to warm up and post this. If there is anyone in the Vancouver/Camas area that can come and help me it would be much appriceated. I am at the corner of 164th and 1st at the car wash next to that 76 station. It appears not to be getting spark but not sure. No point in replying I'm headed back there when the cab gets here.

FIXED: A dead MSD coil was the culprit. Guess time for another tune-up.

So is that what it was? The MSD? John i seen this last night at around 6 and i was gonna swing up but by then i figured you'd be gone. I use this stuff fom the dollar store called AWSOME and it is awsome! Just make shure when you use it if you do to have a BONE COLD engine, so first thing in the A.M before you start the engine. I spray it on let it stand for a couple mins. but dont let it dry! then spray it off with the hose! Does wounders, for killer grease, but sometimes it mess's up the finish i've noticed ? I wouldnt use it on the body paint or the glass! AND NEVER EVER IN DIRECT SUN OR IF THE PART IS EVEN THE SLIGHTEST WARM! I learned the hard way with mr R/C stuff! peace

Yes I did stop by to help him and he already had a buddy on the way. It was the blaster coil that went out on him... I dont know if it was just because it was MSD though... Nice guy for sure! The stuff that he did use, unfortunately, ruined the finish of some of his aluminum pieces i.e. the valve covers.

It was indeed the coil. Of course I tried drying the cap and distributor first, I even brought on of those cans of compressed air. I then tried to get the spark to jump from a the coil wire with a key jammed in the end to the hoist bracket and only got this pathetic yellow spark that could not jump a gap wider the a couple centimeters. I assumed that this was not enough to jump the gap in the plugs. So the first thing I replaced was the coil and BOOM it worked. Was this thinking flawed? The stuff I used to clean the engine bay is called "BLAST" it’s a blue liquid that is a concentrate. Yes it hazed my aluminum and bare metal but after a heat cycle and correct reapplication (diluted), most things look ok now. Hey maybe it is just karmas way of telling me to get some new valve covers. ​
