Help - moved to Calif with no catalytic converter

I recently moved to Calif with my 2002 GT Conv with modified H-Pipe, tips, etc. w/o catalytic converter I'm hosed and won't smog. Can't legally buy used converter. Any ideas on my options? ...cheap remodification...out of State sale...etc???

Shops can't sell you used cats, but other stangers can. Look for a used H pipe for sale online or see if a local stang nut will let you borrow an H pipe for a weekend.

I'm in anaheim. I have a BBK h-pipe (catted) thats just sitting around. Its for a 94-95 though.
