:bang: :fuss: please help me
my car has a real ****ty idle, it idles around 250 RPM, yes that is two hundred and fifty, in the middle of 500 and 0 RPM. when i hit the throttle, the engine doesn't rev until i let it out. My bro said that i was throwing some codes, i just wanted some other opinions before i started messing with it.
Thanks everyone for your help.:SNSign:

You're seeing the inaccuracy of the factory tach. It won't idle at 250 RPM. This is why mechanics use a diagnostic/mechanics tach instead of the stock one when setting idle. My OEM tach (as best I can interpolate it) reads ~150 RPM+ off from what the computer sees.

Another vote to have the computer provide clues. Pull codes.

Good luck.

Peoples' advice will vary depending uipon the exact code you got and when you got it (KOEO or KOER).
If you clean the IAC, I'd stay clear of products with Toluene.

Good luck.
