When's the last time you used a motorcraft pip? Are they still good? Motorcraft parts are re-branded off shore parts just like everything else now only they cost more.

September of last year, actually. Though I could not tell you when the Motorcraft part was manufactured. I can say that I've never had a problem with a Motorcraft part, while I've had trouble with some other brands. My main problem is that aftermarket parts tend to fail sooner, or just don't work right out of the box.And yes, I understand that Motorcraft merely re-brands parts made from other companies. In theory, Motorcraft parts are manufactured and tested to the same standard as the OEM parts. But that's just my opinion.

In theory the the others are too... On a side note, I wonder why we bash Chinese made products harder than we bash the Mexican made?? Are we saying Mexicans have better work ethic?

Update: Replaced distributor after the car had me stuck. No fuel/spark... runs like a charm now.
