Please help me understand why the rear brake cables and front brake cable are too far apart to allow me to assemble the front cable to the lever mounted through the transmission holder and/or the rear cables into the equalizer. The cables are purchased new from Mustangs Plus for this 65 Fastback. I believe the rear cables are too short because the threaded rod is too short to allow the equalizer bar to connect to the threaded rod with the rear cables attached. One help would be for someone to send a picture with a tape measure in the background so I can see the dimensions of where the front and rear cables are relative to each other.
