Hello everyone, I have a rebuilt 289 2v in my 68 coupe. It has been bored over .030 and i have decided to add a new intake, carb, headers, and heads. I really like the edelbrock power package, and the tri-y headers i have seen in the jegs catalog. I normally dont like to do this and i know that its not easy to estimate something with limited info, but what the heck here it goes. These are the following products that i plan on installing and id like a hp estimate (at the flywheel). The edelbrock performer (not rpm) cam, 1.9" heads, 600 cfm carb, intake, tri-y headers, msd pro-billet distributor, and dual flowmasters (probably with the h-pipe for now). Any help would be appreciated.... Thanks

Brandon

Others please tune in. Mine is nothing more than an "educated" guess. Anyone with a like set up had theirs on a dyno?

Edelbrock has dyno results on their web page for their packages.

I put an Edelbrock package on my 347. However, if I had it to do over, I would go with AFR heads all day. There's just no better head on the market.
