Hey guys...used to post here on Stangnet quite often but its been awhile!
Anyways...I just recently purchased some well needed M/T 275/50R15 (26x11.50R15) ET Street Radial Slicks for my 87' GT. Wondering whats the common backspacing guys are running when it comes to rims. I want to run Weld Draglites and was thinking of running a 15x8 or 15x8.5. I have the quad shocks removed and I dont run tail pipes. I was also really hoping that I dont have too pound on the rear quater fenders at all. Anyways just wondering if anyone could share what there currently running and how it works....any rubbing? Whats required to make it fit etc. etc. Any help would be great!!
Thanx!

it doesn't rub the outer fender at all. I have a little spacer on the drums to move the rim out a little. It maybe a 1/4 inch spacer. I did massage the inner fender a bit with a hammer but not much was needed at all. I don't even have my fender lips rolled. It only rubs a little on the quad shocks when i am cornering hard. I don't know why i keep those quad shocks on anyways.
