Are the Non WC and WC T5 cases the same??

Am I right in saying its just the internals that are different?

What is a good upgrade part for a stock WC T5?

Yes cases are physically the same. The front bearing cup is different so if you use a non-WC case you'll need to swap the bearing cup from a WC trans in it's place

So I will have no trouble swapping all the internals from a WC into a Non WC case?

There are a couple little differences in the WC/NWC cases, I don't know if it will hamper your plan or not. Why not just use a 4cyl WC case?

Are 4 cyl T5 cases the same then? Like the cosworth in the UK?

I don't know if the Cosworth has the same T-5.


4-cyl Mustang T-5's are identical though other than a different gearset. I am currently converting a 4-banger T-5 over to a 2.95 Z-spec t-5
