help with cam

I need help deciding what cam is best for my build........going to do a 347 build over the rest of the winter. I plan on buying a forged short block (not sure from where yet...seems like every shop I find has some people that love them and some that would like to burn the place down) and doing the rest of the build myself. I have a set of Windsor Jr. heads (going to have them ported) using 1.6 roller rockers, have a edelbrock performer intake, p600b procharger (14 lb pulley) going through a 650 Demon blow thru. This is where I am stuck with the cam. This is strictly a street car. Maybe a trip or two to the local 1/8 mile but nothing crazy. Is the b303 I have now a solid choice or not? I had someone say its too high RPM oriented and doesnt have enough lift. what do you think? In the end I would like to have 400-450 rwhp. Thanks for any advice. I know there are a million variables that go into this, just wondering what you guys thought.

I dont think the B303 cam is a good choice for this build, there are much better cams out there.I would go with a custom cam from jay allen or ed curtis the cost is really not that different over an ots cam.If your doing a blower motor that what i would do.The shortblock many people have had good luck with fordstrokers.com

+1 custom. With the money you will be spending on a 347 stroker, your best option would be custom. I have a 357 w/ otb vic jr's w/ B cam....it runs hard the way it is, but I know there is A LOT more power to be made which is why I'm changing the whole top end this winter with a custom cam. Jay Allen or Ed Curtis will release every horse in the stable!
