Hi guys,

Im looking to buy a low milage (26000 miles) 93 gt vert. The seller sent me pics of the undercarriage, what do you think? Anything out of the ordinary?
Take a look at the black metal frame, i circled an area in red. Is this normal for it to have all these black rivet spots?

My 91 vert does not have this.

Thxs for the help!

Joe

Looks normal, it a oem bracket only found on convertibles that is suppose to add more rigidity to the chassis

Those rivets are twisted a little and loose. Either someone tried jacking it up from the brace or something hit it. It's not a hard thing to fix. Doesn't look like anything major happened there.

It's been a long time since I've seen a lower core support look that good. It's missing the air deflector though. LMR sells them.

I agree with 90sickfox. It is basically a subframe connector from the factory, but I would still recommend adding subframes if you do purchase it.

From the picture, it also looks like you are missing the bolts and u-nuts to attach it.

It looks stock to me. Many people use armor-all on them to make them darker and shiny.

Well, as long as you are happy with what you are seeing and buying, it really doesn't matter if it has 26k, or 126k. Just make sure you get it for a reasonable price and that you are happy with your purchase....that's the most important thing.

Everything shown in the pics goes along with a real low mileage fox. That car must've never sat outside.
