ok so i just picked up a low mile tr3550.. heres the info on the trans and tag;

casting: c-2605865 (main case)
msk-11734 (tail housing)
tag: tr3550 2
ALJLB 20
260070B
0044

It has a 26 spline input shaft and a 31 spline output shaft.. i was hoping to get help on picking out a clutch and if i would need a new slip yoke. i have a bell housing, cross member and clutch fork. also i need a new bearing retainer because the one on the trans broke during shipping. but im going to order that from the gear box unless anyone has a better source/suggestion.

my car wont have more than 350 flywheel hp after all is said and done. my budget for a clutch KIT is around $300 thanks

From your description, it sounds like the original Tremec 3550 TKO, a high power capacity version of the 3550.
See http://www.ttcautomotive.com/English/products/TR-3550.asp#Car for specs

Visit Tremec's web site - See http://www.ttcautomotive.com for general information.
See http://www.ttcautomotive.com/English/onlineorder/product.asp to download a FREE service manual for T5 or Tremec 3550/TKO
You will need the Adobe Acrobat viewer which is also a free download – http://get.adobe.com/reader/

See http://www.hanlonmotorsports.com/ or http://www.ddperformance.com for parts

A T5 rebuild kit with syncros, bearings and other small parts costs about $160. It does not include any gears or shafts.

http://www.hanlonmotorsports.com/ also has a video on how to rebuild your T5 or Tremec. It costs about $20, and is worth every penny of it.

I did a Tremec 3550 rebuild, and it wasn't that difficult. The video was an immense help, and I would recommend viewing it. At $20, it will give you an opportunity to look and decide for yourself if you think that it is something you want to try to do.

what about clutches? i was liking the fidanza 2.1 or the ram hdx. i just can find a 26 spline 2.1 fidanza KIT with TOB and alignment tools.. whats your choice on clutches ?
