Hey guys 70 or 65 mm tb?

Not necessarily. Some don't and then that means the bigger TB isn't helping and the manifold inlet is actually blocking the incomming air partially.

Cobra, gt40 and edelbrock will need to be port matched to fit a 75mm tb. Not sure on the stock inlet size, but I assume its 60mm because I rememebr reading an article about putting a 65mm tb on a stock manifold and it needed to be port matched.

not true i have a edelbrock victor 5.0 intake and its recomended from edelbrock to have a 75 and i have one no porting involved


Designed for 5.0L-based competition EFI engines, the Victor 5.0 EFI aluminum intake manifold is for non-emission, racing applications. Intended for engines modified to produce 400 to 540+ horsepower, this intake manifold features a race-proven design with shorter, larger runners for power to 7500 rpm. Runners are 11.5" long and 50% larger in area than Performer 5.0 #3821 runners. The base features an air-gap design to isolate the manifold from hot oil in the valley, and will accept stock or stock replacement fuel rails. The upper manifold will clear tall valve covers and large fuel pressure regulators. The upper and plenum cover are powder-coated light titanium gray. The base is as-cast and not powder-coated. Designed to work with Edelbrock Victor Jr. or Victor cylinder heads, see page 112. Edelbrock 75mm throttle body is recommended for most applications with no EGR spacer.
