Hey guys 70 or 65 mm tb?

Definitely the 70 over the 65. I'd actually run a 75 because that's what the intake was designed for, but that's just me. I'm sure all the experienced guys with 14 second monsters will chime in and tell you to get the 65. You get to pick who to believe. :flag:

I was going to get a 70 but wanted someone else's opinon. By the way I see u llive in arizona. I'm moving to Vegas and going to UTI in Arizona, so maybe i'll see that 11 sec stang one day. Do u guys have emissions? Cause i'm keeping michigan tags, (no Cats)

65 is stock man id be a waste of money, 70 is better then 65, i am going 75 which u shold too, u might loose some hp now but it wont be alot and it will setup up better for when u get bigger injectors and a cai, when u get bigger injectors and a bigger MAF your going to thank yourself for getting the 75

go 70mm,its perfect, bigger than that will actually loose horsepower (believe it or not)

Wrong. 75mm IS what he wants. That extra 5mm will help more get more air in faster and help him make more power with his high flowing induction package. Don't believe internet myths or internet racers :)

65 is stock man

60mm is stock on 87-93's. 65mm is ONLY stock on 93 cobra's.

o well 60 and 65 a still very small, how big is the stock intake inlet?? can a 75 fit on it? will a cobra or a gt40 explorer intake fit a 75?

Cobra, gt40 and edelbrock will need to be port matched to fit a 75mm tb. Not sure on the stock inlet size, but I assume its 60mm because I rememebr reading an article about putting a 65mm tb on a stock manifold and it needed to be port matched.

not true i have a edelbrock victor 5.0 intake and its recomended from edelbrock to have a 75 and i have one no porting involved

Designed for 5.0L-based competition EFI engines, the Victor 5.0 EFI aluminum intake manifold is for non-emission, racing applications. Intended for engines modified to produce 400 to 540+ horsepower, this intake manifold features a race-proven design with shorter, larger runners for power to 7500 rpm. Runners are 11.5" long and 50% larger in area than Performer 5.0 #3821 runners. The base features an air-gap design to isolate the manifold from hot oil in the valley, and will accept stock or stock replacement fuel rails. The upper manifold will clear tall valve covers and large fuel pressure regulators. The upper and plenum cover are powder-coated light titanium gray. The base is as-cast and not powder-coated. Designed to work with Edelbrock Victor Jr. or Victor cylinder heads, see page 112. Edelbrock 75mm throttle body is recommended for most applications with no EGR spacer. Larger injectors may be needed depending upon power levels. 1994-95 Mustangs require conversion to ’87-93 inlet systems. Manifold includes throttle cable bracket
