Hey guys I'm new hear looking for some info

So my 92 4 valve coupe decided to lock up on me the other day about 30 seconds into its first drive I found a 96 4 valve but I'm not sure if the wiring harness or ecu is going to be any different or if I can just bolt it in and plug it up any info would be greatly appreciated

have you investigated the cause?
no matter, there are a couple members in the fox forum that have swapped mod foxes, I move this over there and see if they chime in.

What year is the 4v that's in the car ? A 96 GT 4.6l is a 2 valve. A 4v would be a 32 valve cobra or mach 1 engine from a newer mustang...or heads swapped from a lincoln 32v 4.6.

We need more info...

The motor in the car is out of a 98 cobra no I haven't investigated yet engine lost all oil pressure and cut off and can't get it to turn at crank I was told by a mechanic it would need to be rebuilt and was quoted 4500 if parts are reusable

I put it here to get some attention, most here wrench on there crap and a few have swapped other engines into their cars, there is a forum for swapped foxes.
Did you do the swap?

I would imagine a long block swap is just plug and play.

96-98 Cobra engines are pretty much the same thing
