I've got a bit of a rythmic rattle from the front end that occurs around 80mph. I do not hear it below that speed.
Sounds like two pieces of metal tapping each other. My guess at first is wind noise making something rattle. Trouble is I cannot find anything in the front bumber area that is loose or can be shaken to make a similar sound.
When it is occuring I can put it in neutral (5sp man) with any change as well as shutting off the engine without a change in the rattle/ringing sound.
other people riding in my car say its coming from somewhere in front of the dash under the hood. its absolutely driving me nuts!
