Hi guys,
Wasn't sure if this was technically "tech" or not, so I decided to post here.
Seems I have finally got my engine temps under control. Moved from electric fan to flex-fan with a shroud. The one issue I have is the shroud is not an exact fit (Griffin aluminum radiator) and there is a gap along the top and bottom where the shroud stands away 1/4" or so from the radiator, thus allowing air to be easily pulled in there as opposed to through the fins.
I put some duct tape over the gap today and it made a huge difference in the air being pulled through the radiator. Problem is that is got all shriveled and pulled away in spots after a 30 minute drive. I was wondering if there was a "high-temp" duct tape or some other product that would be good for application that someone could recommend?
Thanks!
Kelton
