You guys better watch it, they might come after your cars at night or when you're not around.

Young Punks These Days!

I know if someone F-ed with my car I would be joing to jail for what I would do to them.

Funny stories though.

Yea I am 19 And cant believe at the way some ppl my age act and even older then myself. I am in college and have been living on my own since after highschool. Everything I own is paid by me, and belongs to me. I get no help from my parents *not that they dont want to help, I just dont accept it* I believe ppl my age these days are just spoiled. Not many ppl can believe it when i tell them that I live on my own paying all my things on my own. Damn punks these days. Thats one reason why I try to keep my temper because if someone does something to my car, after how much I have struggled to get it where it is right now, I might really hurt someone. Its not easy doing all these things I do with the stang on a 9.50 and hour budget going to school and paying rent and bills.

I used go out with my freinds into this neighborhood with no fences and big front yard and peel out all over the front yards trying to do donuts or spell stuff out it was a blast at the time in my 78 cadi coupe de ville, took out a couple mail boxes and street signs in the mean time (whoops)...i would be be pretty upset if it happened to me now.

It all depends on parenting.... I'm 17, and am disgusted at how most kids my age act. I've been brought up well, taught to respect other people and their property. If I want something, I'll have to work for it. period.. Most of the people I hangout with are 24-27 in age, because I can't stand hanging out with most of the retards/losers my age.

I got mugged about 1 month ago.. I work mornings so I can go to community college in the afternoon/evening. I stopped at Sheetz gas station to get coffee at about 5:30 AM, and got jumped from BEHIND by FOUR guys (first inclination I was behind robbed was a punch in the back of the head) Not much i could do, just glad they didn't take the Cobra. They got my wallet and keys though... Just can't believe it took 4 guys to jump a 150 lb kid (right outside the front doors too) I couldn't eat for 2 wks after that. I got about 4 hits in the jaw, and my right ear was hit bad. I was bleeding from a cut in the back of my head as well. I still went to work, just had to get my Cobra towed and have new keys made for it.

People are so worthless nowdays.

holy crap diablo...I was driving my moms mini van when I was 17...and my car still isnt as nice as yours now and I'm 23 .

No one in my neighborhood messes with me. I live in a pretty nice area plus my brother is a Chicago POPO...and I own more guins than he does. Go ahead Guero i know I'm gonna catch fire from you on this one.

The thing that pisses me off is the damn teens bomming down my resedential street at 70 mph at night. My bro and I were contemplating putting up a speed bump in front of our house one afternoon. I would love to see the pile of broken cars in the morning . It would totally be worth catching flak from the city.

Posted before i got to the second page...that sucks Diablo. I deliver pizzas in chicago on the weekends and I've heard of delevery guys getting robbed cuz we always have a bunch of money on us. I luckily havent been messed with, but my dad got robbed at gun point while he was working once, he delivers too. He never keeps more than $20 in his wallet cuz they always ask for your wallet. It worked for him that time..and i think he had like $500 in his back pocket that the guy didnt get.

Guero I know I'm gonna get it again but...MAN I wish Illinois was a carry state.

The only time in recent memory

I can remember having an issue with teenagers, just happened to be in front on my daughter's highschool (yes I'm old enough to have a daughter in highschool) When the little pukes coughed up a few one liners as my daughter & I walked from the school to the car (parked right in front of the school) They ceased to laugh or say much of anything else when I flipped her the keys and said you drive (nice sunny day in June of this year, top down) She has her LP, it made her day to see their collective jaws drop as she pulled away with a smile & wave!

A knife is worthless in the situation I was in, and can make it more dangerous. I carry a Smith and Wesson 3" Tactical folder, which actually came unclipped and fell out of my pocket when I hit the ground. One of the guys yelled "GRAB THE WEAPON" and I had some pretty awful visions going through my head, but thankfully they all turned and ran to their getaway car instead.

Lesson learned: Shootem next time.

(I wish I could carry a gun under 21.... I've been competition shooting since I was 12, shooting my modded Glock 17)

I turn 21 Saturday. And Ill be getting my CCW a few weeks after that.

And you can carry a pistol in your car if you are under 21. Its a loophole, buit its legal, as long as its yours. Hidden in your car is not a concealed weapon. When its hidden on your person its a concealed weapon. Atleast in LA.

With that being said I can get a snub nose .38 Special from under my seat in about 2 seconds.

But I can't posess a handgun in NC under the age of 21.. at all..

I had a torque wrench (one of the big ones) by my seat in the Cobra, but again... useless, since I wasn't in the car.

Getting mugged often is less expensive than even an initial trip to the ER. I applaud the guys whom keep their composure (rather than getting pissed and fighting) and simply give up the goods. Live to fight another day.

Ill definitely give up the goods if they are making me, but its when they start getting physical that Ill pull out something and defend myself. Ive pulled a gun on some guy before, and I think that if i wouldn't have something much worse would have happened.
