Im not condoning street racing or anything like that, but do our cars stack up better on the highway compared to our competition (camaros, vettes,T/A,...) seems like when me and my buddies go out for a cruise i can run better with those cars from 50 and on than i do when we compare track times.

I have a JLT intake, brenspeed tune, o/r h, steeda pulleys, charge motion deletes and a hurst shifter.

I love my mustang on the open highway. It seems to have a great amount of pickup when one needs to step on it.
On a recent trip from Knoxville to Raleigh I averaged 75 MPH with 25.2 MPG.
It was a plus 300 miles, with two stops.
I love that!

a good friend of mine has an SS with intake/lid, 373 gears, full exhaust including longtubes, short throw shifter, with some suspension goodies and can run 12s all day. I can run low 13s (got a 12.9 once on stickies) but its a different story on the way back home from the track! :D
