Decided to give the old 302 one more run at the track before I pull it out in a couple of weeks. My first run might have been my best, but being unfamiliar with the track and the current setup on my car I got out of it at the 1000' mark. I also had a lot of wheel spin out of the hole, my friend who was running the camera said I ran a 14.93.

Ran a best of 14.79 @ 93mph, down from my previous best of 14.95 @ 91mph (iirc). Did alright considering the ambient temp was about 100 degrees. My previous best was on stock suspension. I was surprised it improved considering I'm on 17's, road and track springs, and Bilsteins.

Hilarity of the night consisted of me rolling past the beams once, killing it after cleaning the tires off when I hit the clutch and brake at the same time, and me getting frustrated with the track personnel when I had one guy telling me to wait, while another was telling my to do my burnout. Was fun overall, got me to itching to get my Cobra out there and see what it can do.

Nice work! Way to shave the time off since your last run!

One day maybe I'll have the guts to take mine down to the track. I'm afraid I'll run extremely bad haha.

You will. I've made tons of passes over the years, and every time I go back I have to make noob mistakes all over again. lol
