Ho do you remove the head rest's on a GT

They are the rubber style. They are actually a foam base that has a rubberized vinyl outer surface. The outer surface tends to crack and degrade when left out in the sun down here in Houston.

The spray dye holds reasonably well if you really clean the headrests first, as long as you don't go and intentionally scratch it with something. I used some of the higher priced dye that supposedly has a "molecular bond" to vinyl and leather, not the cheaper Duplicolor. It has worked fine for about 2-3 years. My red ones I did with Duplicolor, and they cracked after a year or so.

is this from an LX. Mine dosn't slide up and down. Do I go from the back side of the seat or the front.

Well I just tried again and I cannot get thees dam things off
It sounds like you are doing about as well as I did on the first side. Are you using a screwdriver up the back side of the seat? That's how I had to do it and I couldnt feel what was supposed to move since it was seized. I got my hand up there to feel things out (up the seatback guys. :D ) and then I knew where to put the screwdriver.

Good luck.

I'm about to scrap this whole idea and through theese dam halo's out
Dont give up - I was frustrated too. I dont consider myself inept but I was humbled by the one side (side two took 30 seconds - I kid you not!).

I go them. I didn't know I had to reach up and towards the front of the seat. I was tryin to find the clip on the back side of the seat lol. Yea the 2nd one took less than a minnute. The halo's look way better than the huge GT ones
