Hood Cable broken, I CAN'T OPEN MY HOOD!!! HELP !!

Hello my friends! My '93 Stangs hood cable came out onto my hand with 4 feet of the inner cable attached to the handle! How do I pop my hood open now?
Thanks for your time!!! Jay50convertible now (coupe was wrecked) I have lots of good parts....

get under front of car and reach up there and pop it by hand. I cant really describe how to do it but I know it can be done.

I have already tried that method. However without some kinda more specific area or where to stick a screwdriver?, etc. Getting under there and popping it by hand, does not work. Maybe it can't be described good enough in a forum? I hope someone can give me a hint??? Thanks, anyway...

Lay under the front of the car and look straight up at the latch. You will see a tab where the cable goes in (or would go in depending on what's left). That tab just needs to pull towards the driver's side as if the cable was doing it. Just use your finger and pop it over -- the hood will pop.
