Since leaving most social media apps- I’ve lost contact/updates from my Stangnet friends. So don’t mind me as I knock the dust off old threads

Its got the SVE radiator in it now. What Ive learned is that the core size matters. A 2 core with 1" tubes has 25% more surface area than a 3 core it .6" tubes in it. So, I'm either going to buy a 2 core 1" or splurge for a 1.25" core radiator. I'm also going to re-work the intercooler to lean it away from the front of the condenser to get more airflow in front of it. More to come on that, trying to do some fundraising right now.Love it man! Get yourself a SVE radiator and some Contour fans (or a MkVIII like I had but I think it takes more space) with a DCC controller and you'll be set on the cooling I bet.

Contour fans wired to the ignition so they are always on. I have had bad luck with relays but will likely set the MS up to turn them on soon enough. What is your fan setup?
Ill figure out the magic combination eventually. Its just taking way longer due to my gnat-sized attention span and just general life chaos.Glad to see you still have it. You have reaffirmed my choice not to boost my 363.![]()

The fone camera pics are a little misleading, makes the Junk Pyle look like a fine piece of automotive equipment n![]()

I drove the car to North Texas this week to visit job sites, over 500 miles Tuesday and Wendesday. Drive went perfectly fine, but I suspect the driveshaft is out of balance. There's a vibration that increases with speed. Ill have to fix that soon, but I think the only cure is a new driveshaft, I hear shops wont rebalance existing units? Is that true? Other than that, I averaged 17.3mpg with a fat AFR. I just need to try and let autotune iron that out with target AFRs.

In other news, my bronco has been neglected lately but I finally scored a truck off of Copart I had been watching for literal MONTHS. Got it for $3k delivered, which I am tickeled about. But I got the title and snooped and found out the driver didnt make it so that kinda stifled my excitement. I guess it comes with buying heavily wrecked vehicles.
Anyway, it has 128k miles based on what I can tell from carfax. The plan is to pull the engine, trans, and harness. Sell the interior off to recoup some money and scrap the rest. Everything else is junk, very little was untouched in the accident. Ill have the motor out this weekend and will send the harness, fuse box, and ECM off to be stripped down to run standalone. Should be a pretty simple swap from what I can tell. Not sure what kind of interest there is for a bronco motor swap here but I can update if anyone cares.
Your thread....do it......I like reading about swaps and the pitfalls that befall you.
