Hey Yall, I have been following the fox coupe with the turbo windsor they have been building up. I know they play A LOT of re-runs, but I was wondering if I missed the episode where the crew takes the coupe for some shake down runs. I have seen them try to chassis dyno the coupe, but I think they ran into some problems. They mentioned that next time they would get it out on the road, but sometimes my weekends are filled with family stuff. Hope I didn't miss it. That coupe should run, run, run!!!

They have not brought it back yet. :(

The last time they showed it it was on the chasis dyno and the gears were too steep for the torque converter so as soon as it locked the car had to shift. 1000hp + high stall + 5.xx gears + 2-speed trans= no go

I keep waiting for them to bring it back but the last couple months have been reruns except on Muscle Car. :notnice:

Horsepower and xtreme 4x4 are the only 2 of those shows i can make it through a full episode of anymore. I wish they never got rid of stacey david, that guy was the man, and his new show just isnt the same.

I also miss the chick from xtreme, she was my dream woman

I hated Stacey David, thought he was a tool. Sure he knows allot but he just buggs me. I dont care for the new hosts of Musclecar eaither. Santiago and the other dude were very entertaining and made the show fun. Now its kinda boring. Its too bad Jessie hurt her back to the point she couldnt work on the rigs anymore eaither. Her and Ian had a good back and forth.
Trucks was never interesting to me and was just filler.

I couldnt disagree more :D he built some BA stuff on trucks, and you could tell by his excitment that he was really into what he was doing, i thought he was the man, just liked doing burnouts, donuts, going wheeling and driving fast. I'll bet he would be fun to go out and have a few beers with

Edit, he was also the only one on the powerblock to really beat the piss out of the stuff he built too... with the exception of extreme

+1, stacey david was the ****. he had twice the on screen presence of the other hosts and he knew his **** to boot. watching him flogg his builds at the end was always great too. what I really liked was a build didnt end on a dyno roller like the other shows did.(ended in a crusher:()

Stacey Davis is a little cheesy at times, but he's cool. I wish he was still the Trucks guy. Muscle car is horrible...awkward to watch. Ian on Extreme seams to know his s**t. Im glad I didn't miss the shake down runs on the fox coupe. Lots of re-runs

I used to feel that way too, but now that I own one again, I find myself interested once more. Although I am sick of every, single episode being about modern 4X4's being lifted 20" with 44" tires on them, or rebuilding some old rusted out Bronco. I'd love to see some simple mods, or a a Roushcharger instal on an F150 or something. Not everyone buys a truck to go climbing sand dunes or playing in the mud!

Yeah exactly, i don't see myself ever doing 85% of the things they do in that show. Noor do i have the finances to do 3/4 of the modifications that they do in all of the HP block. They should show you cool junkyard swap ideas and stuff like that.

did you ever see the one where stacey put the whipple charger and mach 1 shaker on the F-150? that was a badassed truck

they have been doing stuff like that recently. On trucks there doing a JY cummins swap into an old ford frame, and on extreme they have done a bunch of budget minded stuff

Truck U on Speed channel does tons of simple and inexpensive bolt ons all the time. The guys are a little annoying and they push Z-Max like crazy but the stuff they do is very usable for the average Joe.

oh man talk about tools, those two take that cake, i hate that show, i'd rather watch lifetime

Im standing here next to one of our 700hp Super Snakes. It has Z-max in it!

If that wasnt so, I wouldnt be standing here telling you that.

Carroll Shelby

Gotta be true then.

the two guys garage crap is just as bad. the only good build-up shows on speed are gearz and ccr.

i always wondered what happened to her, i missed a lot of that show for a while and when i started to watch it again she wasnt there. not really worth watching now.
