Ok, I was wondering how much horsepower (at an average)that I'm making. I have: Accufab 70 mm TB,Offroad H pipe, Flowmaster American Thunder Catback System, Underdrive Pullies, 255 lph fuel pump, and I just had my heads worked on(shaved, ported, valve job). Does anyone have this setup and know how much its making or atleast have a guess at the power? Any help is appreciated.

Did you get the lower intake ported also? Or are you still running the stocker? That is probably your biggest bottle neck.

Assuming, it's not ported my guess is 215-225 @ the wheels

If it is ported then it can be anywhere between 235-260 @ the wheels with the different combinations

Note: I also assumed you are running a t-5 trans

No I dont have the Cobra upper installed its the full stock intake. I have an AOD trans, and when they shaved the heads my mechanic said that its the most he's seen taken off in a long time.( they were warped and needed alot of work).

AOD will suck a lot more power than the T-5.

DTL for T-5 = 15%
DTL for AOD = 25%

Take another 10% off my figures.... But remember, it's still faster than stock.

It really depends on how well worked the heads are, and if your still running a stock untouched lower intake. It could be anywhere from 210 to 260 rear wheel horse power.

The heads are supposed to be reaaly worked...I never saw them before they went on the car cause I was out of town but my mechanic owns mustangs and he said that he was really impressed with them. and yes the entire intake is completely stock.

Well, then who knows? Without specs, you won't be able to accurately guess what kind of numbers they will produce. Could be anything from milled and gasket matched, or they could be worked with bigger valves..

Well, instead of making a new thread, I thought I would just hijack this one. What RWHP/FWHP you think im making?
Cobra intake (stock)
GT40 Y303
70 Accufab
1.7 RRs
stock cam
T5Z
Pullies
Longtubes (soon to be)/ O/R Hpipe/ American Thunder

DMAN302

My mom says thanks for the pearl necklace.

could be 200 could be 230 your car is basic stock AOD..in pure stock form you looking at 180-190 to the wheels. Now add 10-15 hp for the exhaust and pullies your in the 200 range. Now come the heads...don't know because we don't know the flow numbers the heads can put down..you say there top notch..I'll give you 30RWHP, just too many variables with an individuals work. People ask me "how much power you making?"..I don't know, I know what I could be, maybe even what it should be, but without a dyno or track times you just can't tell.
