I got alot of ls1 and 4.6 buddies. And on here and in real life, it seems no 4.6 owners get tnt nitrous kits for the cars. Just about any ls1 guy I know is running a tnt kit on his car if hes spraying. I mean seriously, they all are running the same kit. Any thoughts or experiences. Cause there getting great numbers out of those kits.

just brand preference i guess. i won't run nitrous at all, so thats my bias.
I agree it's more of preference and what
nitrous kit that will work best on your car with the best results.I NEVER
see any Mustang owners that run nitrous running TNT nitrous kits because
I belive that they function best on GM cars but, that's my take on it.I was
running 100hp shot of NX with all the saftey goodies and reducing my
times from my old 14.6-14.7's stock in the 1/4 to cutting 12.8-12.9's
at about 110-115 mph in the 1/4 mile with my old NX wet kit.I must
say that I was happy running the same times as bone stock 03-04 Cobra's!
NX :nice:

the tnt kits are around $750 and the basic nx kit is around $500. I'll probaly run a nx kit, just because i know there proven to be the best on a 4.6 car. I also belive the tnt kits come with 2 nossles and the nx kit just one. The thing I like about the tnt kits is they have the metal ring that goes around the throttle bodies where the nossle hooks into. Where the nx you have to drill into the air intake to place the nossle.

yes those prices are the same for the basic nx and tnt but,
if the person running the nitrous kit on there stang if they were smart they
would get all the saftey goodies because those extra accessorys are cheap
but,if something happened to go wrong your 4.6L engine isn't cheap too
replace at all.In my opnion on nitrous kits on 4.6L engines the best results
were from NX and NOS's NOSzle kit.I say they are both great kits.
Yes josh I remember quite we'll because I installed my own NX 100hp
wet shot kit on my 96 GT with all the saftey goodies. With everything and
taking my time so,it would get done right the first time it took me about
five to six hours it was we'll worth it because like I was nailing 12.8-12.9's
with just a 100 shot.I also remember replacing my CAI tube that had a hole
in it where the NX nozzle went when I reinstall my kit to sell it.You can't
go wrong on a 4.6L with the NOSzle kit or NX. :nice:

I know of some gt's using the tnt kits. Nx kits are rated at the wheels but i dont know what the hell tnt kits are rated at. Ive seen a tnt 75 shot put 125 rwhp to a car and tnt 150 shot put 200rwhp to a car. Those kits are underated. And ive seen demolished engines because of it.
