How difficult to swap in a new shortblock?

I have a tired 5.0 in my '95 Cobra (110,000 miles), but it has relatively new AFR 185 heads. I'm thinking of buying a new crate shortblock, built with forged internals, and using my existing AFR heads, long tubes, pullies, A/C, power steering, etc.

How difficult will the swap be? I have never done engine work before, but have a decent garage and set of tools. I have done intake swaps before, installed lowering springs, done brake jobs, installed long tube headers, etc., so I am not unfamiliar with basic mechanics.

Is there a manual I could get to help me thru the swap?

After the swap, I'll install a supercharger, but I want to get the engine done first.

I will be grateful for any suggestions,

Pick up a cheap hoist, call your boys over and its pretty straight forward. I highly suggest you label ever bolt in a zip lock bag.

I got my hoist from pep boys for $99 after the rebate.
