to the pedal assembly? Im in the process of an AOD to TKO 600 swap. I bought the BBK Quadrant and Firewall Adjuster...
I dont like the quadrant because you basically have to hammer it into place on the pedal assembly. It doesnt come with spacers to hold it in the right position, so they made the holes too close together...

Im sorry for such a stupid question, but ive never had a car with a non hydraulic clutch before.

thanks

The quadrant has a series of "hooks" on it... sometimes 1, sometimes 2... some 3 :) The end of the clutch cable has a little metal cylinder looking thing on the end, it is held onto the quadrant by the hooks. Kinda a crappy explanation, but hopefully it helps. Good luck!

Yep.

Also, regarding the hammerin of the holes.

I dealt with the same thing - my quadrant was an RCH off from sliding on. I chose to machine one boss in the quadrant (I only needed a tiny bit) so the quad would slide onto the two pegs with ease. It worked great.

I even ran with no spacers for awhile to see if I could assist some peoples' thoughts about needing spacers. Pure physics means that the quadrant will self-center (the cable takes the path of shortest distance to the firewall - like a waterskiier being pulled to the middle of the boat's longitudinal plane). I added spacers some time later and it mattered-not in how the clutch performed, and my quadrant never danced with or without spacers.

Just my experience in case it makes decisions easier.

Good luck.
