I located the MAF in the plastic housing. Now I see the sensor thru the wire screen. what do I remove to reach to the sensor to clean it.

I was albe to spray some brake cleaner non-residue type tru the screen side.

On the other side is a metal plate held down by 2 screws do i remove these screws and can reach it better with a q-tip?

Or do I have to pop the plasic housing off??

Thanks

Pick up MAF cleaner at any parts store. Spray the wires, let it air dry and put it back on the car. Very simple.

Those directions listed in the second post are exactly what I used and they worked great. Just be very careful when cleaning the resistor.
