How do I get a screw in oil cap to work on VCs with push in grommets?

Hey guys. I have a set of FRPP valve covers that I got to put on the car to fit my RRs. Anyway, I bought a breather cap with a nipple to connect the hose from the TB, and I bought a FRPP oil cap. Only problem is, the cap is designed to screw in, and my VCs are designed for push in stuff. Anyone know how I can get the cap to work? Thanks guys!

No, because it has a rubber ring on bottom the cap that seals to the VC tightly. It's designed to do what I did. It's the FRPP chrome oil fill cap. I just didn't think to yank the rubber grommet before, which are designed to convert regular VCs to push in style VCs.
