how do i keep up with a civic in the twisties??

ok the tires im running is whats killing me cuz they are 225/50/16 yokahama avs 100's. MM k member brace was just installed Mm strut tower brace is being installed tomorrow when i have time. specs on the civic is b16 motorswap, full coilover suspension and full exhaust i think.

You need wide, sticky 17s. Also what about brakes? You can go into corners faster if you have good brakes.

yep them tires blow!. to hlp your handling either get some 245-50-16's or get some 17's and throw some 255-40-17 on the rear and 245-45-17 on the front. should stick like glue if you get something quality. I love my nitto 555's

225 is as big as you really want to go if you have a 7 inch rim. I am assuming that Saleens are wider so you have some room for a bigger footprint. General rule is to stay within 2 inches(wider) of the rim size for handling. If you go wider you will probably be rolling the tire on corners.

unfortunately the rims that are on the car are not actual saleen rims so they are probably 16x7 from what i can tell.
