How do I remove..

The piece of plastic that runs between the headliner, and windsheild on my 1991 GT?

I know I already asked how to do this in another thread, I was told to just pull it off. I pulled a little bit, seems pretty firmly on. How does it attach? Where should I be pulling from, and any other little tidbits of information would be useful, I don't want to damage anything.

Well you do just pull down on it, it is held in place by some metal retainers that are like a hook and hold it with pressure, to remove it just grab it from one side and tug bit by bit and you will feel it come loose slowly untill the hook type thing comes out all the way. Hope this helps

There are 3 clips that hold it in... one on either side and another in the middle about where the mirror is... just pull real hard and it will come loose. the metal clips will sound like they're breaking, but it will be fine.

damnit, I pulled it off, and it is the sunroof leaking. Now that bar is kinda bent, and if I push up on it, it kinda rattles. I messed my new stang up, for new damn reason.

You could've just slid a screw driver in there to give you enough room to see and check for leaks. You can slid the piece easier than pulling it out.

It was not "for no good reason", now you know where the leak is. All you can do is bend the Al part as straight as you can, or go find one in a j/y.
This part should be easy to find.

I don't think that using a screw driver would have helped, as suggested above.
