Hey guys im getting ready to put my new motor i bought in my car this weekend, and i was wondering how to tell what cam is in it with out pulling the cam out? I bought the block and it has forged flat tops .20 over, and supposed to have a B or an F cam in it, and i would like to know so when i get my heads checked i can get the right valve springs put in.

thanks

That's at the valve with 1.6 rockers. You can't really go by that since a lot of people use different ratio rockers. I have 1.7's on mine for a .510 lift. Just set up a dial indicator down in the lifter valley and measure the lift at the cam.
