How do you feel about your harness-style seat belts?

Last time I needed to replace my seatbelts I got them from the Ford dealership for a rediculous price and they worked how they should for about a year. Now the stockers are worthless and I have corbeau seats. My impression of harness style seat belts has always been that they are kinda unecessary and lots of Asian cars have them. But I wanted to know from those of you who have them, what do you think? If you could rewind, would you go with factory retractors or harness?

Harnesses are really uncomfortable and inconvenient for street driving.

and if you get pulled over with them on you could be written a ticket. sometimes if im lazy i just throw my lap belt on when im cruising around, but my factory belts are in use 90% of the time.

Also if you dont have some kind of halo with a cross bar to attach the harness to then it will actually do more harm then good
