A ford or lincoln mercury dealership could do it for you. If you want, you could PM the vin to me and I will run it for you tomorrow.

Any Ford dealership can get your build date and history of the car for you. Here's a site on www.mach-1.org. Donna works at a Ford dealership and has been getting this information for us but I don't know if she would be able to do it if everyone swamped her.

I just had mine done at a local dealer, no charge for it and it's not the dealer I bought it from. So any dealer can run it just ask. I found out I have a new transmission. @7500 miles. I'm the 3rd and last owner for this cobra.

I used to work for a Lincoln/Merc dealer. It's a stand-alone computer that talks directly to the Oasis central computer. All they have to do is imput the VIN and the report comes back.

They shouldn't charge you since there's nothing to it.
